Overview of Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X SFP Advanced Gigabit Ethernet Router (ER-X-SFP) | Like New
This router has five Gigabit Ethernet ports with passive PoE capability as well as one Gigabit SFP port for backhaul applications. Each of these ports can be set up for line-rate, Layer-2 switching. The router is powered by an 880 MHz dual-core processor, 256 MB of DDR3 RAM, and 256 MB of NAND code storage.
The ERXSFP SFP variant is powered by an external power adaptor. The five Gigabit RJ45 ports enable 24 V passive PoE output for airMAX or UniFi devices, while the SFP port supports backhaul applications.
This EdgeRouter X, which is powered by a proprietary and user-friendly graphical interface called EdgeOS, can be simply customized for the routing, security, and administration functions needed to run your network efficiently. An integrated CLI is offered for advanced network experts for rapid and direct access to known commands.
